I had the privilege of photographing a group of WWII veterans recounting stories from their recent return trip to Normandy beach and Iwo Jima. It was an honor just being in their presence. I only wish I would have had more time to talk to them one-on-one. Also in attendance were business tycoon T. Boone Pickens and legendary Dallas real estate mogul Ebby Halliday (pictured at left in 2nd photo), who is 102-years-old!
