Norbert Schulz, a 69-year-old retiree and longtime volunteer at Baylor Hospital, was standing in Baylor's cardiac catheterization lab on September 8, 2016 when his heart suddenly stopped. He was just a few feet from a crash cart and was immediately attended to by professional cardiologists. Just three months later, he is back on the job as a regular volunteer in Baylor's Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital. Shot on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 for the Dallas Morning News.
