The woman pictured above is Beverly Mitchell, a breast cancer survivor and one of my bosses at Kids' Involvement Network in San Antonio. Beverly is the kind of woman who is always willing to drop what she is doing and answer a rookie's question even when the question may not necessarily pertain to her. I was very grateful for her immense help over the past year.
