Woodrow Wilson High School varsity boys basketball team defeats Hillcrest High School to win the district 12-4A title Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Forester Field House in Dallas.

I photographed the first three quarters of this game between Lincoln and H. G. Spruce on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at Forester Field House in Dallas. In the spirit of full disclosure, the final picture in this series depicts a Lincoln HS coach walking in a hallway outside his team's locker room at halftime. Although the Lincoln Tigers were down 35-32 at halftime, they went on to beat the Spruce Timberwolves 78-58.
