Young Fathers

A couple of weekends ago, I found myself hanging out with three young fathers and their sons, and watching them be dads made me really excited about becoming one in a couple of months (except I'll have a little girl). If you've seen The Boys of Booker T, you know that I've documented some very broken father-son relationships, so it is encouraging to see these three dads who are stepping up to the incredibly weighty God-given role of fatherhood by loving and leading their families like men should. None of these photos were posed, by the way.

Sand On Trains

I got to travel with Adam Fox and Bill Saunders of CM Productions to Cleburne, Texas where we photographed/videoed sand being brought in by BNSF trains and then being unloaded by big excavators. It was really interesting to observe and definitely reminded me of little kids playing in the sand box, only in real-world size.
